Rhythm Gambit

Summary

In a world of aggressive openings and powerful basslines, one King will rule the board. In the struggle between light and darkness, the Dark King has raised an army of pieces and has overrun the board. In a desperate final gambit, the King of Light must go alone into the lair of the enemy to defeat the evil Dark King once and for all. After all, in a ruthless game of chess, the material doesn't matter if you checkmate your opponent first.

Rhythm Gambit is a fusion of Chess, Rhythm games, Roguelites, and Bullet hell games.  Fight your way through hoards of enemy chess pieces, uncover the secrets of the dungeon, and take down the evil king with only the powers of capture and song.

To run this game on Linux or Mac, you will need to run the RhythmGambit.love file with Love2D.
